Earlier this month we talked about FBI Agent Chase Bishop who was at a dance club when he accidentally discharged his weapon. Agent Bishop was off duty and dancing, gathering quite the crowd. When he did a backflip, his firearm fell out of his belt. In that article, we promised that we would update you when more details became available.
As you may have already noticed from the first article, we have the name of the FBI agent now. The FBI had released the name after the initial investigation was conducted.
Charges were filed against Agent Bishop. He is now facing a charge of second-degree assault. He was released on bond after charges were filed and is now allowed to travel so that he can continue to work while the court case is ongoing.
In the current climate a lot of people are expecting the charges to stick. Only time will tell. If there is another update we will let you know.
